Administrative Assistant - CPA Firm Temp to Hire


 


Our CPA firm client has asked us to assist them in finding an Administrative Assistant to work in their Production Department.  Reporting to the Production Manager, this is the perfect role for someone with 2-3 years administrative experience, who excels in a fast paced environment and takes pride in attention to detail.  The successful candidate will have great typing skills and be very comfortable with technology.  This is a tremendous opportunity to work with a company that has earned “Best Place to Work” by both Accounting Today and the Washington Business Journal.


 


Responsibilities:


 



  • Assist with the assembly of tax returns and finalization of financial statements

  • Provide support for completion client payrolls and generate client billings,

  • High volume scanning of documents

  • Interface directly with, and assist other Managers in the organization

  • Cover Reception duties

  • Other general administrative duties as required 


 


 


Required Qualifications :



 

Required Experience:



  • 2-3 years experience in an administrative support role

  • Experience working in a CPA firm, especially during tax season is a definite plus

  • High proficiency with the Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Experience using XCM or CCH/Wolters Kluwer products is highly desired

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
